SUBROGATION INVESTIGATIONS

What is Subrogation? Subrogation is the legal term for "standing in the shoes of", which usually involves the representation of insurance companies seeking to recover on paid losses from liable
tbinocularshird parties, including lien negotiation and enforcement proceedings.

Although subrogation usually goes hand in hand with fire/explosion investigations, there are other reasons subrogation is pursued. For example, if your loved one were to die as a result of a shock from a television set, the two questions asked are: Did the television malfunction due to a ground to the chassis? (Hazardous condition due to manufacturing technique or process) Was a TV repair person responsible? (Egregious act or inexperience)

Unfortunate circumstances like these are typical reasons for a subrogation investigation.
DELTA can conduct an origin and cause investigation to discover the facts. DELTA will then work with the legal profession to bring the case to a successful conclusion.

This definition was obtained by "The 'Lectric Law Library's Lexicon".
Subrogate - If one person performs a duty of another, they are then "equitable subrogated" to the rights of the person owed the duty. The most common form of subrogation is when an insurance company pays a claim caused by the negligence of another. The act of putting by a transfer, a person in the place of another, or a thing in the place of another thing. It is the substitution of a new for an old creditor, and the succession to his rights, which is called subrogation; transfusion unius creditoris in alium. It is precisely the reverse of delegation.
